About Abbotsford Whalers Aquatic Club
Our History
Established in 1958, the Abbotsford Whalers Aquatic Club (AWAC) is home to over 150 athletes every Summer Season, hosting athletes with a wide range of skills. AWAC is part of the Fraser Valley Region under the umbrella of the BC Summer Swimming Association.
Empowering Athletes
For two consecutive years, the Abbotsford Whalers have placed in the top 5 clubs in the province. Thanks to the new head coach, swim times are improving and self-esteem is growing. Teaching the athletes the importance of time management, setting goals, and tracking progress, as well as cultivating a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
Success and Personal Growth
The team is breaking old records and setting new ones while striving for excellence in their sport. The Abbotsford Whalers encourage everyone to give it a try and plan to keep pushing forward to achieve even greater things. Let's keep up the good work
